A major component of The Natural Gait, the Ion Inn reflects owners Howard and Donna Bright’s natural style of living. With sleeping for up to 14 guests, this cabin is a great place for a reunion! Our rental season is April through November.

General amenities include window air conditioner,
Living room: One sofa, one futon, and two chairs.
Kitchen: Booth dining table, range with oven, refrigerator, microwave, basic utensils, coffee pot, and cookware.
Sleeping for up to 14 guests: first upstairs bedroom sleeps up to 4; second upstairs bedroom sleeps up to 6; loft area sleeps up to 3; one rollaway single bed is stored in a closet if needed.
Firewood is available for $5/bundle upon request. Ice is available for $3/bag upon request.
On our property, which borders the Yellow River, you can enjoy shuffleboard, tetherball, birding, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Bring your own canoes or kayaks, or rent them locally from Bigfoot Canoe Rental.
Don’t forget your fishing pole… There’s a bass in the river with your name on it. The river offers smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, and brown trout.
Bring your hiking boots to take advantage of the hiking trails on our property, and bring your camera as you are sure to see an abundance of wildlife and prairie plants. A pair of binoculars serves well for eagle watching and stargazing.
ION INN RATES & POLICIES
Rates: $170/night for up to 2 guests. Additional guests: $10/guest/night.
We accept payment by cash, check, or credit card. (A credit card is required to hold your reservation.)
Cancellation Policy: NO refund if cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to reservation! As we do not take deposits, the entire amount of your reservation would become due.
Pets are allowed ($10/pet/night).
Minimum weekend stay is 2 nights. Minimum holiday weekend stay is 3 nights.
Check in after 2 pm. Check out by 11 am. (Exceptions to these times can sometimes be made. Please inquire.)
