Amber and Jerry Hinton - Managers

Amber and Jerry came to us in December 2007 with a vision and passion mirroring our own for The Natural Gait  and what we wish to offer anyone desiring to expand their awareness and connection with nature and the horse.

Jerry is an experienced organic gardener and a huge lover of the plant kingdom. And they love him - we heard he had to stand on a ladder to harvest his tomatoes last year! Jerry rode extensively as a young man and is looking forward to furthering his horse experience here and helping us expand our offerings for other nature lovers. We’ve also heard rumors that he’s a chicken whisperer!

Amber is a lifelong horsewoman with 30 years’ experience in not only riding but in deeply connecting horses and people.  Her students tell us that her greatest ability is her warmth, kindness and compassion as well as her deep intuitive sense of conscious awareness. You can see this in her writing under “Spiritual” and “Horse Encounters.”

Kal Hammill - LMT
Kal is a good friend of The Natural Gait's. He is a Nationally Certified Masseusse and he and his wife run
a day spa in Decorah, Iowa. Kal knows 6 styles of massage and is a Reiki Master. He is available by appointment at The Natural Gait.
